A room with a view

All I want is a room with a view
A place that I can call home
To be.
Sit and sleep and smile
To work and to dream
In my room with a view
A view of London Town.

Me missing looking at something...

Last weekend I paid a much needed visit to Kew. Things have been a bit hard and I went to stay with my family for the weekend. My Grandad is very ill, my mum exhausted and well we just wanted to be together. It is amazing weather and something about these beautiful flowers just makes you feel wonderful. It is a bit of a tradition for us. We try and go once a year (although last year I didn't make it) and this year Wolfie came along too. We had a lovely picnic and just a relaxing time. it is good to rest. Nature is amazing. We musn't forget this.

saying hello

After a couple of days in the country (ok not really the country the suburbs... but ther are fields and hills) I must admit the change is unbearable. Life is so different. So boring. Everything is over by 5pm... but there are a few things that are generally fantastic.

1. The air... I love to be outside and here it is fresher.
2. The sleep... I have a proper bed.
3. The appreciation of other places.
4. The dogs!
5. The trees...
6. Actually having a house and not cheap food!

....
BUT have you noticed how if you walk past someone on a lane you alway say hello... merry christmas! Strangers are more friendly. I guess in London ther are just too many busy people to say hello to.... but it makes me feel good :)

A summer fairytale full of the fabulous.... oh how I yearn for a beautiul castle...
