Beginning again... for everyone.
This formidable mecca stands before me.
Towering from this concrete craned city
The sunlight bathes it is a holy light.
Cathedral to my world.
My artist does not belong in this fashion queue.
I mouse squeak.
I mouse scowl.
The sky is bigger than reality.
Grey shining slabs of lighted stone reach out.
Squares of vastness
Squares of symmetry and structure and sameness.
This vat of creative energy potentially excites my beginning.
There is no fire.
The writing is wrong.
This will be a beginning.
To escape mouse?
To swim . see.
I know how to start but the finish line is far far away.
This sun is standing above this temple and I am wondering what will become.
Waiting and wasting is not the point.
The point is what is in my mind.

i'D NOW at The Red Gallery
| You can see the dogs tail... |
"Marking over three decades at the forefront of style and culture, i-D will be ‘popping- up’ at London’s Red Gallery this September, showcasing 30 years of historic covers and laying on a feast of interactive events including acoustic performances, fashion shoots, book swaps, dance classes, coffee mornings and more in celebration of i-D NOW."
I think it is worth a look. The retrospective of covers all in one place is really quite impressive. SO many cover stars and so huge from the start. i-D has become a fashion and cultural british BIBLE. It is something we should be proud of.
That said.. my favourite part of The Gallery was the cutest Jack Russell...from what I can see he was called i-D. I miss my dog so much!!

TriPPPle Nipples
Last night was one of THOSE nights....
The Old Blue last seems to stage anything and everything and yesterday was definitely the BEST.
The Vice issue launch saw the eclectic mix of Mafia Lights, Trippple Nipples and Dam Mantle take to the stage.
Trippple Nipples made my life! Three crazy naked japanese girls, squashed strawberries, nappies and three middle aged balding white guys on the instruments (dressed in what can only be described as - paper mache multi coloured bondage on acid flower suits)
Ah I am In LOVE

Coquette at Kettners
On Saturday I was lucky enough to attend the fabulously frivolous Coquette at Kettners in Soho courtesy of the charming Mr Carter in oder to take some pictures . I had an amazing time sipping on champagne and cocktails, gorging (really over stuffing) on finger sandwiches and divine cakes and tarts, being pampered to the extreme ( I had my nails painted for the first time ever), learning how to be a lady and dancing the afternoon away (with the odd tarot reading on the side!) .
This girls only event is a real luxury and a wonderful party. There is anything and everything to entertain oneself (just not enough time in the day)... The hair, make up, clothing and shopping continues all afternoon ( as does the unlimited food and drink) but guests can also participate in skin care treatments, private dance lessons and lectures in the art of being wonderful. I particularly enjoyed the wiggling class which was full of sexy character, the kissing talk (given by writer of the compendium of kisses) which was both entertaining, interesting, scientific and (thanks to Mr Carter's acting as a glamorous assistant ) hilarious and learning to dance the Charleston. Here are a few pictures ...
